Some web photos look fuzzy or unsharp, why?Please understand the photos on our site are PREVIEWS ONLY. They do not reflect the full clarity and quality of your final image. We have a limited amount of server space and must compress our images to save space and bandwidth; this can make images some what fuzzy. Also note if you are using AOL's horrendous web browser, AOL adds additional compression to images; use a 3rd party browser like FireFox!Put simply if an image IS out of focus I will not post it! Motion blur (most for sports) is however a photographic technique, and can add life and drama to a still image. Some pictures look "grainy", why?A inevitable fact of photography in days of old, and new... Typical of poor stage or gym lighting, or night games. Grain or noise is caused when we use a high sensitivity ISO such as ISO 800, 1600, 3200 'film speed' in order to stop the action. This can be solved in post-processing, how ever the proofs you see on the web site are mostly unprocessed.Why not just use flash? Some evens forbid us from using flash (baseball, ect.), we abide by these rules, and so should you. It's for the players safety. What size prints do you offer?Standard Sizes: 5x7, 8x10, 11x14, 16x20Other Sizes: 8.5x11 (Letter), 11.7x16.5 (A3), 17x22... Other sizes as needed, such as panorama. Will you print any thing smaller then 5x7?No... and, yes...We can not sell individual Wallet, 3.5x5, 4x5, 4x6 images. How ever we can make Units of the same pose per sheet. Can you print "Units" or "Sheets"?Sure... Please call, we have many options... A "Unit" or "Sheet" is a set of images (ONE POSE) per sheet, such as 2x 5x7, or 8 Wallets. (Like you get when ordering school photos). Sheets are always trimmed down to size on our professional rotary trimmer, to save you the trouble of cutting.What paper will my photos be printed on?
We use only the best! Our printing system is the Epson 3800 Professional Photo Printer. We use only Epson Professional Luster Papers. This printer and paper combination provides true Archival photographs, that are equal to any professional photo lab. (Many notable pro labs now use Epson systems and inks for digital prints.)Will the prints last? Epson says UltraChrome K3 Ink™ with Epson paper will last 100+ Years! Do you offer glossy or other paper types? No, only "Type E" Luster. Can you print Black and White, Sepia or any other tone? Sure, just ask... Portrait QuestionsHow long will my session take?As long as it takes, I don't work for the clock. Most session last about 30 minuets to an hour. This can be especially true with small children or babies.How long till I get my portrait proofs?If your in a real rush, your welcome to come view them on our system in my home. Otherwise about 2 to 3 days depending on how busy I am. But remember they are only proofs, and do not reflect what we can do with a final image, such as retouching or art work and effects.Proofs can also now be viewed on our web site. A gallery and pass code will be provided. Proof gallery's will remain up for 30 days. Only you will have access to them or the people you give the pass code to. There is no addition charge for this. How long till I get my print order?Once you select the images you want. And tell me what you want, like art or retouching. It can takes about 5 to 7 days. But please understand for some orders needing a lot of work it can take longer (Major retouching, composites, art ect.). We can mail your photos to you, you may come pick them up, or we can deliver them in person. (Postal fees will apply to mailed orders) .Sport QuestionsAre you paid by the League or School to take photographs?No... This is 100% volunteer work... I am a freelance photographer.As a freelance photographer I will work for any one who calls, a parent, coach, League, school, ect. I get paid by the photos I sell, not the events I attend. Are you a member of any sports photography groups? I am a member of SportsShooter.com, the webs leading directory of professional sports photographers. Being a member of this site means more then just paying dues.
You must pass a review board of your peers and leading sports editors from such publications as The Associated Press, and SI, and have sponsorship from a senior member to be listed here. I take great pride in being a member.

It is customary to ask first, before we just 'show up'; Leagues and Coach's generally appreciate this. Can I hire you to photograph JUST my kid?Sure... For a small fee I'd be happy to be your "Personal Photographer" and fallow just you child for the game in question. You can then order prints or we can provide a CD of digital files so you may make your own. This is of course first come first serve. By this we mean, in uniform at the field or location of your choice. Kicking the soccer ball, pitching, batting, skating, judo class or karate class, what ever you do ect.
